Directorate of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and Turkish Religious Foundation in collaboration with Office of theCounsellor forReligious Servicesof the Turkish Embassy in Dushanbe granted aid to people in need on the occasion of Ramadan and for the purpose of demonstration of friendship between Turkish and Tajik nations.

In this connection, apart from the aid granted in Dushanbein July 15^th, 2014, the areas exposed to flood disaster (mainly Khatlon province of Kulob city, Vose and Shurabat regions nearby villages) resulting in 550 victims received the aid in the amount of 10,000 U.S. Dollars on 17-18 July 2014.

In addition, like previous couple of years, 15 households of Zuvayir Village (in Khovaling Region, where graves of Enver Pasha and his comrades lies) received food aid in the amount of 2.5 tons worth 3.000 USD, on 23 July 2014.

Thus, in the month of Ramadan, the total amount of aid has reached 22,000 USD.
