We welcome the agreement reached on the declaration of a ceasefire at the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (Ukraine, Russia and the OSCE) held recently in Minsk within the framework of negotiations to find a solution to the crisis in Ukraine.

We hope that this step will mark the beginning of the path leading to a comprehensive and lasting solution to the ongoing crisis based on international law and the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

We call on all relevant parties to meticulously comply with their obligations in this context and reiterate once again that Turkey is ready to contribute to the efforts aimed at resolution of the crisis.
