The latest approval of the Israeli authorities for the construction of 900 housing units in the illegal Ramat Shlomo settlement in East Jerusalem is a new example of this country's attitude in total disregard of international law.

These activities of Israel in contravention of international law are without any legitimacy and cannot be accepted.
