We have learned with great sorrow that, many people were killed and injured today (7 February) in the terrorist attack perpetrated at the Supreme Court, in Kabul.

We strongly condemn this terrorist attack and wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, speedy recovery to the wounded, and convey our condolences to the brotherly Government and people of Afghanistan.

We believe that such heinous terrorist attacks cannot deter Afghanistan from its path towards stability and development, and we reaffirm once again Turkey’s support to Afghan Government’s combat against terrorism.
