We have learned with sadness that the recent typhoons which have affected Japan and the Republic of Korea have caused loss of lives, injuries and forced millions to leave their homes.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the relatives of those who have lost their lives as well as to the friendly peoples and the Governments of Japan and the Republic of Korea, wishing speedy recovery to the injured.
